I'm a day late posting.  Sorry about that.  I love to get this posted on Sundays, but since Elijah has been born, it's hard to keep up!  Our family schedule has been tweaked just a bit!  We had a wonderful time in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, this past week.  It was so wonderful to get away and just be together as a family.  The kids just had a wonderful time, and so did we!  It was great to just relax all week.Thank you all for your kind words to us this week.  They've been such an encouragement.  We are still disappointed...

We got news about Elijah this week, and it honestly wasn't the news we wanted to hear. Elijah has a genetic disorder called 3MCC deficiency, but thankfully, he seems to only have a very mild case of it, as it is just barely showing up on his lab work.  Most people with this disorder have trouble breaking down protein, so they need to be on very special diets because of that.  They also run into a lot of trouble when they are sick with just very common viruses.  At this point, we don't know how this disorder will affect Elijah,...
